Gatesville Riding Club Annual Rodeo

A Little About GRC

The Gatesville Riding Club is a family oriented organization that was established over 40 years ago. Our members represent different equine related interested, disciplines and skill level. Our membership consists of riders and non riders, ranchers, breeders, rodeo competitors and folks who just like belonging to a group with opportunities to spend time with others who have the same interests.

The Club is a 401(c) non-profit organization which manages and maintains the Riding Club Arena all by volunteer effort. The largest fundraiser for the year and the most well publicized activity is the Annual Gatesville Rodeo, a hometown tradition since 1936! The club also sponsors junior rodeos, the Coryell County Youth Horse show, Playdays, Trail Rides, Annual Christmas Party and other events that may be of interest to our members.

GRC Mission Statement

The purpose of the Gatesville Riding Club shall be to encourage the motto of: “Horsemanship, Sportsmanship, Citizenship and Fellowship” among amateur horsemen. It is the aim of our organization to keep alive the tradition of the Texas horseman.

Our organization actively seeks to promote the art of horsemanship and friendship among members and friends, fostered through a number of events throughout the year. GRC is a non-profit organization and is managed by a Board of Directors.
